KARNATAK CULTURAL FOUNDATION:

Karnataka Cultural Foundation, the socio-cultural organization of Kannadiga Muslim diaspora in the Middles East, Malaysia and Britain is very active in various community services. Our members and special volunteers are just a call away during any distress that unfortunately befall on expatriates. Facts, figures and evidences of our availability for all kinds of distresses faced by expatriates across gulf countries are too many to explain in a small space. Our frequent social outreaches and sincere efforts in this regard are reflected abundantly in social media, print and visual media. Our Hajj Volunteer regiments have been doing champion services during the annual Hajj pilgrimage with awards after awards every year. Leadership and communication development programs are being planned and carried out systematically to help the expatriates grow professionally. Educational scholarships for talented and poor students, medical assistance for the needy are regular items on our list of services. Our network is super active in programs and activities that improves the socio-economic- religious situations of poor and unprivileged in remote areas of north Karnataka with a project name Al Ihsan Karnataka.

AL MARKAZUL ISLAMI KARNATAKA

Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) has embarked upon an ambitious project of constructing a huge Islamic Cultural Centre at Adyar-Kannur on Bangalore – Mangalore national highway. This is certainly going to be a PRIDE MUSLIM LANDMARK STURCUTRE standing TALL on the highway demonstrating our identity and uniqueness as one among the rich and diverse cultural and religious heritages in India. If the Splendid Masjid Minarets at Pumpwell on the Kerala highway introduces Islamic identity of Mangalore city for the outsiders who travel from Kerala side, the proposed structure of Al- Makazul Islami Karnataka, Insha Allah, would be a welcome post to introduce our identity to all onlookers travelling on Bangalore Highway. The fully operational imposing Al- Markazul Islami structure is going to be a hugely beneficial multi-utility center that will house a full-fledged auditorium, prayer place for women, funeral service center and among many other amenities and conveniences needed for various religious and cultural activities/ programs of Muslims in Mangalore. The need for having such a multi-utility Islamic cultural Centre in Mangalore has been discussed in various forums, however, it always remained a distant dream. With ground work already completed, KCF has moved forward in fulfilling this dream. The second phase of work is being initiated now. May Almighty Allah (SWT) help us to work with utmost dedication to complete this project at the earliest.

What are we going to have at Al Makazul Islami Karnataka.

Dawa Centre: The Dawa Centre Al- Markzul Islami, Karnataka will have a guidance center with digital library as well as physical library to quench the thirst readers and researchers who want to read or pursue serious studies on Islam and its history, culture etc.

Auditorium: The state of art auditorium at Al-Markzul Islami, Karnataka will be available for conducting symposiums, delegates meet, conferences etc.

Students Hostel: The first floor will house a students’ hostel with modern facilities so that eligible students can make use of it with moral studies.
Guest Room: A spacious fully furnished guest room will be built to facilitate the

short stay of our religious and community leaders who visit Mangalore for various religious and community service/program purpose.

Men’s prayer space: For Travelers on highway looking prayer space with good facility of washrooms especially when travelling with family, Al Markazul Islami is the right place to stop and enjoy the prayer breaks.

Women’s Prayer Hall: Ladies prayer hall will be the hall mark of the structure which facilitates the prayer break for all travelers on the highway

Funeral Service Centre: The structure will also have a full-fledged funeral service with all modern facilities

No doubt, the proposed Islamic Culture Centre at Adyar – Kannur is certainly going to be a great gathering place for Muslims in Mangalore. The imposing structure that is going to come will be every one’s pride in Mangalore.

We have taken initiative and taking it forward now. However, a lot need to be done, we are in need of huge fund for its successful completion. Our volunteers across the globe are contributing partially, but it’s going to be incomplete without generous contribution from every one of you.We are sure all of you want to be a part of this great accomplishment. The reason for approaching you is to provide on an opportunity to be a partner in our mission. We all have desired and dreamt of such a cultural center at the entrance of Mangalore for long. Now that it’s being done, no one should feel deprived of not getting chance to contribute.
